OK, look, I'm not the kind of guy who wishes injury on anyone (well, except maybe Hines Ward).
As much as I believe Brady should be, and will be, the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, I cannot celebrate an injury to Derek Anderson.
Early in the second quarter, Anderson got hit pretty hard and was taken back to the locker room. The Browns say he had a concussion. As a result, Brady was inserted into the game.
Again, I'm happy Brady is getting in the game, but I want to set the record straight and say that I am not happy Anderson got a concussion.
I agree. It's not good DA got hurt but it did open the door for Brady. I think DA was a fluke last year and benefited from a good line and very talented recievers. He made a lot of mistakes and cost us a playoff spot in the Cinci game at the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteLet's be honest DA looked awful prior to his injury. Pro-bowl season or not last year it should be an open competition especially if Brady looks good during the preseason. I hope the coaches will have the guts to pull DA quickly if he struggles. I am not saying Brady is the answer, but I don't think DA has proven himself to the point of no open competition.
