After Saturday's poor showing, I keep telling myself, "It's only preseason ... these games don't mean anything."
Let's not forget, our offense was without our starting wide receiver and starting running back. It makes a big difference — not to mention the play-calling seemed a little bland. And, let us also not forget that our defense was without our two starting corners and a linebacker.
Yes, the Browns had better get healthy in a hurry.
But, as for being 0-3, just remember this is the preseason and the games don't mean anything.
I agree with you that 0-3 doesnt mean anything in the preseason (Steelers were 0-4 in their Superbowl year). But we do need to see some consistent and decent play out of our first teamers, For two weeks now they have looked horrible!
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to our line, all of a sudden the right side forgot how to pass block. We need Tucker back asap!
hey Pete....dont squash my comments..if this is a real message board you wont "pick and choose" what comments go up here.
ReplyDeleteWe were also without our starting quarterback.
I'm not squashing any comments.
ReplyDeleteYes, I realize we were without our starting quarterback. I just don't believe that to be relevant as to why we lost so badly. Which is why I didn't feel the need to point it out.
Just wanted to let you know that I will be joining in the comments once I have something to say other than that preseason game results are meaningless except when somebody gets hurt enought to have an impact on the regular season.
ReplyDeleteGreat. I look forward to reading more of your comments.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the preseason:
