The Lockout is Over!

I can't believe it! I just read the news that the NFL Lockout is finally over! By a vote of 31-0, the NFL owners have approved the revised collective bargaining agreement.

Finally, we can get to playing football!

Wait, what? You mean it's not really over? The players still have to vote on it and some are quoted as saying, "it's not a done deal yet."

WTF?

Isn't it just like the NFL to get our hopes up. Actually, this is a brilliant move by the owners, yet again. You see, by releasing this news that the owners have approved the new agreement and the Lockout is over, they are placing all the pressure on the players.

Now, if the players don't get their act together, we'll all be mad at them! I mean, the owners got their ducks in a row, so why don't the players want to "play ball?"

Geez, will we ever be ready for some football?

In other news, the Hall of Fame game has been canceled. Huh? Some big issues with this decision ... more on that in a later post.

Go Browns!

Rocco the Blawg Pound Mascot says:
"I'm getting
tired of this.
Who's handling
negotiations for
the players?
Josh Cribbs?"
