I came across a video today (thanks, Ron) and I just had to share it. It's funny, in a sad kind of way.
Cleveland has been the butt of jokes for a long, long time. Our sports misery has been recognized on a national level — "The Drive" was replayed over and over as an example of this city's bad luck.
When LeTraitor made his "decision" last summer, it was all brought to light again.
Now, there's this video from The Onion (and this certainly isn't the first time The Onion has poked fun at Cleveland sports).
As Cleveland sports fans, we can laugh at this. We have to laugh at it ... but at the same time, it stings just a little bit because the absurdity is so close to the truth.
As painful as it is to be a Cleveland sports fans, what keeps us going sometimes is our ability to laugh off our misery.
